What is Gueeck?
Gueeck is an app for finding services in the UAE. You post what you need, professionals near you send offers, and you choose the one that fits.
How do I post a request?
Tap the + button in the app, describe the service, add photos if they help, and choose when and where. Then publish it.
How do offers work?
Professionals who do that kind of work see your request and send their offer with the price and details. You can compare offers, chat with professionals in the app, and choose one.
How do I become a professional?
Add your first service in the app. Professional mode turns on with it, and you can switch between customer and professional mode on one account.
Is Gueeck free to download?
Yes. Gueeck is free to download on iPhone and Android when it launches.
Where is Gueeck available?
Gueeck is starting in the UAE: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Security › Danger Zone › Delete Account, confirm it's you, then type the word shown. You have 30 days to change your mind. Account deletion
Cancellation policy
If you cancel a paid job, part of the price goes to the professional and the rest is refunded. Currently:
- 24 hours or more before the start: 25 percent to the professional
- 2 to 24 hours before: 35 percent
- Less than 2 hours before, or after the start: 60 percent
Your first cancellation each month counts as 24 hours or more. A deposit always goes to the professional, and the payment protection fee isn’t refunded.
Cancelling often has limits too, for customers and professionals alike: currently, from the 4th cancellation in 30 days, new bookings or offers pause for a while, and the 6th puts the account under review (current jobs and requests can still be finished).
